Personalised ceremonies sharing a life story.
I would like to offer my heartfelt condolences to you and anyone who has suffered a bereavement under any circumstances.
With compassion I can guide you through your initial grieving process by enabling you to say a meaningful and fitting “goodbye”. It will be a privilege to listen to your memories that will tell the life story of your loved one and enable me to gain an insight into their personality and beliefs. With sensitivity, creativity and a passion to reflect on a unique life lived, it is my aim to make each ceremony very personal.
As a funeral celebrant I am passionate about working with you to create a unique ceremony and delivering it in a respectful and professional manner. I will work closely with your chosen Funeral Director to ensure the occasion runs smoothly. It will be an honour to share this journey with you making it an occasion that your family and friends can engage with.
I welcome your suggestions and will work alongside family and friends who wish to be involved, ensuring a tailor-made ceremony representing the love everyone has shared. I am comfortable with humanist or spiritual content and any rituals you might wish to include.
My Services.
I can offer the following.
Funeral Ceremony.
Providing a very special, personalised ceremony to honour and celebrate a unique life lived. This will include writing a personal Eulogy to tell the life story and encompass the personality of your loved one. Through readings, poems and music choices the essence of them will be shared. Spiritual content may or may not be included as you wish. The ceremony planned would be suitable for delivery at a crematorium or at a burial site.
Memorial Ceremony.
This is a more relaxed event that can be held after a Direct Cremation or small funeral. I can support planning a personalised event celebrating the life of your loved one and all they believed in. It can be held at a venue special to the deceased or their family and friends. It might incorporate music, readings or rituals.
Scattering of Ashes.
A shorter meaningful ceremony to honour the life of your loved one at their final resting place.
Living Funeral Planning.
I offer the opportunity to support you in planning your own funeral ceremony. More people are making plans in advanceso those left behind don’t have to make decisions at a difficult time. It may be easier to have this discussion with myself rather than loved ones and plan your own ceremony or maybe just write the Eulogy together.
Alternative Ceremonies.
I can also work with you to create an alternative event such as a ceremonial tree planting memorial, or a pet service.
